Is the husband entitled to seek divorce due to a difference in characteristics between him and his wife, and do his words, such as "Please free me from this burden," constitute a divorce?

First: The words mentioned do not constitute a divorce, for divorce is in the hand of the man.

Second: The husband is advised to remain with his wife, treat her kindly, be content with her, and thank Allah for her righteousness and faith. He should not look at her shortcomings, for no one is perfect. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."

If he is unable to overcome the crisis, then he may marry another woman, provided there is justice. Marrying a second wife is better than divorce and the displacement of a child.
