Is it permissible to get back $200 after 365 days, along with receiving $5 to $5.6 daily in exchange for a simple task, and if the task is not performed, nothing is received for that day?

It appears that the refund of the amount at the end of the year is guaranteed by the company. If that is the case, it falls under the ruling of a loan (qard), and it is not permissible to combine a loan with any contract of exchange, such as a sale or a lease. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "It is not permissible to combine a loan and a sale." This is because it is a means to usury (riba), as the loan would then bring a benefit to the lender. If the amount were an investment, it would not be permissible to guarantee the principal or a specific percentage of the profit. Rather, it must be on the basis of Mudarabah (profit-sharing) with the Sharia-compliant conditions.
