Shabaq is the intensity of sexual desire, and it is the seeking of intercourse. One says a man is "shabaq" and a woman is "shabaqah." And "shabiqa" (verb, past tense, with kasra on ba') a man "shabaqan" (masdar), meaning he became intensely aroused, and similarly for a woman. Shabaq may also occur in beings other than humans.
