What is the meaning of a bosom trial (fitnat al-sadr)? May Allah reward you.

The "fitnah of the chest" has been interpreted in some lexicons as obsessions (waswas), while some Hadith scholars have explained it as a man dying without repentance, or as the malice, envy, and unsound belief harbored within the chest, or the constriction referred to in His (the Most High's) saying: {And whoever He wills to forsake, He makes his breast tight and constricted}.
