Is the common interpretation of the Almighty's saying: "Those who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice – those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided" – that if Arab countries are characterized by justice, they will attain security and guidance – correct? And has the Qur’an mentioned comprehensive solutions for eliminating chaos and achieving democracy and social justice, or is that dependent on the appearance of the Mahdi and the descent of the Messiah?
The meaning of "injustice" in the verse refers to polytheism (), as stated in the narrated by Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him. Establishing justice and fulfilling rights are among the reasons for the survival and superiority of nations, because the consequence of injustice is dire, and the consequence of justice is noble. Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that Allah grants victory to a just state, even if it is disbelieving, and does not grant victory to an oppressive state, even if it is believing. Amr ibn al-Aas indicated that the Romans endured and multiplied due to qualities including justice and preventing the oppression of kings. Injustice, squandering trusts, and violating rights are harbingers of urban decay. Rectifying the condition of Muslims and achieving justice is possible without waiting for the Mahdi or Jesus; rather, it requires effort, sacrifice, and dedication.
