Is it obligatory for a husband to be just among his wives in cohabitation, or not?

A husband must be just between his wives in terms of lodging, but not necessarily in intercourse, though it is preferable to be just as much as possible. It is not permissible for a husband to refrain from having intercourse with one of his wives for a period that harms her, or to refrain from having intercourse with her in order to save his pleasure for the other. A husband's living with one of his wives while neglecting intercourse with her and having intercourse with the other is an injustice and poor companionship. The husband should be advised to fear Allah and be just, for the consequences of injustice are dire. The wife should be patient and advise her husband, and she has the right to seek divorce if she fears harm.
