What is the reward for the righteous wife who brings joy to her husband and obeys him, and the reward for the husband who treats his wife similarly?

The Islamic Sharia has answered with glad tidings for spouses who maintain a good relationship, promising them great virtues. For the wife who prays, fasts, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, it will be said to her on the Day of Judgment, "Enter Paradise through whichever gate you wish." Likewise, the affectionate and fertile woman who initiates reconciliation with her husband during a dispute is among the women of Paradise. She must treat her husband well, for he is her paradise and her hellfire. As for the husband who treats his wife well, he is among those with the most perfect faith and among the best of people.
