Why did wealth not reform some of the rich, while the pious among them received their share of both religion and worldly life, and in contrast, the tribulation of the poor is harder and more severe, knowing that the trial of gratitude is not like the trial of patience?

The definitive answer to the issue of divine decree (qada') and destiny (qadar) is to submit to the fact that His decree revolves between justice and grace, and that He, glory be to Him, wrongs no one and decrees only that which contains the most perfect wisdom. However, human beings do not encompass the details of His wisdom, for destiny is a secret of Allah, and He is not questioned about what He does.
