The answer

Zakat on olives must be paid if they reach the nisab, which is five wasaq. Zakat is to be paid from the olives after they are pressed. If irrigated by machinery, then half of one-tenth (1/20th) is due. If irrigated without cost, then one-tenth (1/10th) is due. The principle is to pay zakat from the olives themselves after pressing them and before selling them. It is permissible to pay its value if there is a benefit for the poor in doing so. Based on the permissibility of paying the value, if the ten thousand is the true value of your share, then you must pay one-tenth or half of one-tenth of it.
