Are we correct in not depriving our children of their needs, hoping for Allah's provision, compared to families who build their homes by depriving themselves and their children of life's essentials to secure their future?

It is necessary to understand the levels of life's necessities (essential, needed, complementary) and avoid confusing them, for economy is half of one's livelihood. One should not prioritize extravagance in food, drink, and recreation over building a home. Rather, it is obligatory to be content with what is needed to hasten the migration from lands of disbelief to lands of Islam.
