Is it permissible for a widow observing her iddah, who is over sixty years of age, to dye her hair with hair dye (not henna)?

It is forbidden for a woman whose husband has passed away to dye her hair, even if with something other than henna, because it is considered part of the adornment forbidden to her during the waiting period (iddah).
