Are good deeds forfeited by intentionally abandoning the Asr prayer and not making it up, knowing that whoever abandons it has all their deeds invalidated?

Prayer is a pillar of the religion, and the Asr prayer, in particular, has been given special care by Allah. It is the middle prayer, according to the soundest opinions. A severe warning has been issued against neglecting it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if he has been bereaved of his family and property," and "Whoever abandons the Asr prayer, his deeds are nullified." Scholars have differed on the meaning of "nullification of deeds." Imam Ahmad was of the view that the apparent meaning of the hadith indicates the disbelief of one who abandons prayer, while the majority interpreted it to mean one who abandons it deeming it permissible to do so, or that it leads to a reduction in reward. Repentance and making up missed prayers are incumbent.
