What is the ruling on the work and salary of a director who works for a sports channel and directs footage of women playing sports?

The prevalent aspect of these programs is their inclusion of forbidden acts such as ostentatious display (tabarruj), unveiling (sufur), interminging of sexes (ikhtilat), use of musical instruments (ma'azif), moral corruption, and the spread of immorality. It is impermissible to assist in such matters, for Allah, the Almighty, says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Therefore, working on the production of such programs is impermissible, and the earnings derived from them are ill-gotten gains (kasb khabeeth) that should be given away in charity.
