It is not for a Muslim to glorify disbelievers by wearing their symbols. One must ensure that foreign writings on clothing are free from glorifying disbelievers or containing vulgar meanings. Purchasing a piece of clothing at an exorbitant price merely because it carries such a symbol is considered extravagance.
