Ignorance prevails regarding the nature of this order and the foundations of its thought, due to a lack of exposure to their writings. However, Sheikh Ibn Badis is reported to have accused them of hulul (indwelling of God in creation), wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence), and ill-manners towards the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. These issues indicate the deviation of anyone who believes in them. The Qur’an and Sunnah provide sufficient guidance, rendering it unnecessary to follow any orders, especially those resembling these.
