Is it permissible to perform tayammum for the feet and wipe over the socks while at home, due to a disease in them that prevents extensive use of water, according to the doctor's statement?

The religion of Islam is one of ease, and Allah has permitted tayammum (definition) for the sick if water would harm them. So, if washing the aforementioned limb would cause harm, it is permissible to wipe over it with water, or to wipe over a bandage if direct wiping is not possible. If none of these are possible, then tayammum is permissible. As for wiping over socks, it is permissible for the sick and the healthy, and for the traveler and the resident, provided that the socks are pure, cover the place of ablution, are thick, and are worn after a complete state of purity, and that the duration of wiping does not exceed one day and one night for the resident, and three days for the traveler.
