Is pressuring one's mother by feigning to abandon food to make her do something considered an act of disobedience (ʿUqūq)?

Disobedience to parents is defined as any act that causes significant harm to a parent, unless the act is obligatory. Al-Subki holds that the criterion for disobedience is causing any kind of harm to parents, whether minor or major, regardless of whether they forbade it or not, or disobeying them in what they command or forbid, provided that it does not involve an act of disobedience to Allah.

Exploiting a mother's weakness to fulfill demands contradicts showing kindness to her. Whether this constitutes disobedience depends on the extent to which she is harmed by such an act.
