Is "dalk" (rubbing) according to the Malikis the pouring of water while passing the hand over the entire body 100%, or is 75% sufficient, or passing water over the entire body while passing the hand over what one is able, and can one suffice with pouring water over the entire body without "dalk" for the one afflicted with obsessive doubts (waswas)?

According to the Maliki school, rubbing (ad-dalk) is obligatory in ghusl from janabah (ritual impurity), and the entire body must be rubbed. This is because pouring water without rubbing is not sufficient according to them. As for the person afflicted with waswas (obsessive doubts), the rubbing is not waived for them. It is sufficient for them to doubt its comprehensiveness, and certainty of comprehensiveness or even strong presumption is not required in their case. Exaggerating in rubbing and taking a long time doing it is incorrect and stems from waswas. The majority of scholars do not obligate rubbing in ghusl; what is required is to ensure water reaches the entire body.
