The happiness of a family is achieved through its cohesion, and the responsibility of the parents is to guide their children towards safety, by teaching them matters of their religion and their worldly life. The father is responsible for educating the male children, and the mother is responsible for educating the female children. The mother should not burden her daughter with household chores that she cannot bear, and should distribute tasks among all children according to their capacity, prioritizing religious guidance and teaching children what benefits them for their Hereafter. The father should raise his male children well and teach them diligence and hard work.
