What is the advice for the mother and wife regarding the mother's mistreatment of her daughter due to her pregnancy before marriage, and the mother's refusal of her daughter's visits and acknowledgment of her grandchild, despite the daughter's daily attempts to communicate?

We advise the daughter to be patient with her mother and to respond to her ill-treatment with kindness, as Allah Almighty says: "And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship." (Quran 46:15). A man's entering upon his wife after the marriage contract is permissible by شرع (Islamic law), even before the wedding, for she becomes his wife by the contract, not by the wedding. It is obligatory for the daughter to honor her mother and treat her with kindness, so she should advise her gently and softly. Even if the mother transgresses, her right is not forfeited, as Allah Almighty says: "But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." (Quran 31:15).
