Love for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is one of the confirmed obligations. Among the most important means of acquiring his love is to remember that he is the mercy bestowed upon all creation, and to turn to Allah Almighty with sincerity and devotion, asking Him to grant you His love and obedience, and to strive against your soul to realize the love of Allah and His Messenger and to taste the sweetness of faith therein.
