How can one understand the love of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), what is the benefit of this love, and how can one truly love them, knowing that obedience is love, yet I do not feel it despite performing acts of obedience?

The servant is naturally inclined to love perfection and those who show him kindness. By contemplating Allah's creations, His names, attributes, and actions, the servant realizes that all greatness and absolute perfection belong to Allah alone, and that every blessing received or calamity averted is due to His grace and mercy. This instills love for Him and devotion to Him. And whoever ponders Allah's book will know the truth of His love, for love of Allah is a branch of knowing Him. There is no shorter or more beneficial way to know Allah than to learn about Him through His words. So, whoever reflects on the Quran will love Him for His absolute perfection in His essence and actions.

Similarly, love for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, is essential for the completion of faith. This love stems from knowing his status, his rank, and his impact on his nation. Therefore, one should frequently read the Prophet's biography (Seerah) and accounts of his noble characteristics (Shama'il).
