Must we love and venerate the attributes, names, and actions of Allah more than any created being, and with the same degree of our love for Allah, not for the attribute itself but because it belongs to Allah? And must the love of the Qur’an be given precedence over the love of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and all created beings?

Loving the Names, Attributes, and Actions of Allah stems from loving Allah Himself and glorifying Him, because love for Him, glory be to Him, is love for His sacred Self, characterized by attributes of beauty and majesty. The Holy Quran is the uncreated Word of Allah; therefore, it cannot be compared to any created being in love or glorification. The status of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is that he was the recipient of revelation and the conveyor of Allah's word. He was a human being honored with prophethood and messengership. Allah taught him the Book and wisdom, and what he did not know, and his intellect was the most perfect among the people of the earth, and he received guidance through revelation.
