How can a Muslim apply the love of God and His Messenger more than himself, his wealth, and his family in his daily life?

To achieve the sweetness of faith mentioned by the Prophet, peace be upon him, a Muslim must love Allah and His Messenger more than anything else, love a person only for the sake of Allah, and abhor returning to disbelief as much as he abhors being thrown into the Fire.

This love can be attained by: 1. Being certain that Allah is the Creator and the Bestower of blessings. 2. Reflecting on the dominion of the heavens and the earth and the greatness of His creations. 3. Pondering the meanings of Allah's names and attributes. 4. Knowing that every beloved thing in this world is a bounty from Allah. 5. Being certain that faith is not complete except by prioritizing the love of Allah. 6. Supplicating to Allah to grant him His love. 7. Knowing that the love of Allah is perfected by following the Messenger, peace be upon him.
