What is the nature of the supplication/question of the Messenger (peace be upon him) while reciting the Qur’an, and does it involve praise, commendation, and prayers upon the Prophet?

It is prescribed for one who recites a verse of glorification to glorify, and for one who recites a verse of seeking forgiveness to seek forgiveness. If one passes by a verse that encourages supplication, it is prescribed for him to supplicate and ask Allah. It is not necessary to offer praise, commendation, or prayers before his supplication in this case, because the recitation itself is an act of worship that encompasses that.
