What is the ruling on naming a female "Malikah"?

There is no objection to naming a female "Mulaikah," which is the diminutive form of "al-Malik" (king/ownership) or "al-Milk" (possession), meaning the containment of something and the ability to own it. A number of female Companions were named with it, and it appeared in Arabic poetry. It was also said that "al-Mulaikah" refers to a parchment or scroll.
