What is the ruling on tattoos found on the chin, especially for elderly women, and must they be removed if they are unlawful?

Tattooing is prohibited, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah has cursed the woman who lengthens hair and the woman who asks for it to be lengthened, and the woman who tattoos and the woman who asks for a tattoo." The tattooed person must remove it and repent to Allah, unless they fear excessive harm, in which case repentance alone suffices.
