It is not permissible to say, "O homeland, you are the first and the last," because the First and the Last is Allah Almighty. Furthermore, prioritizing the bond of nationalism over religion is a clear abomination, for religion takes precedence over all bonds, and a Muslim's loyalty to his Muslim brother is not limited by the soil of a homeland. Calling for nationalism with this concept is a call of ignorance hostile to creed. Therefore, one must beware of these phrases that contradict the truth, denounce them, advise those who utter them, and remove them from the anthem. If unable to do so, then one should avoid listening to any anthem that contains them.
