What is the ruling on handing over usurious work to another person after repenting from it, and am I sinful for having taught him how to deal with banks?
There is no harm in dealing with usurious banks by depositing funds in a current account without usurious interest, when there are no Islamic banks available and companies need to preserve their money and trade. As for transactions that involve borrowing or purchasing through them, or opening letters of credit with them, these are forbidden due to the cooperation in sin and aggression and witnessing usury, based on the Almighty's saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty) Al-Ma'idah/2. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses," and he said: "They are all equal." It is obligatory to clarify the religious ruling for those who engage in these forbidden transactions.
