Is a wife's concealment of physical defects such as brittle hair, atrophy of one breast, FGM, and a skin tag that impedates intercourse considered deception and fraud, especially since she was given opportunities to disclose these defects?

A repulsive defect that affects enjoyment or its completeness, and negates the purpose of marriage, must be disclosed before the contract. Otherwise, the other party has the option [to annul the marriage]. Hair loss, atrophy of one breast, and skin tags are not considered repulsive defects. The Shari'ah encourages holding onto one's wife even if she is disliked, for patience is better. Allah the Almighty said: "And live with them honorably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it much good." And He warned against mistreating her or reproaching her for any such matter.
