Wearing a wig is among the prohibited hair extensions, and its doer is cursed because it imitates disbelieving women. However, scholars have permitted wearing a wig for a woman whose hair has fallen out to remove a defect, not to add beauty. Hair transplantation is permissible for a woman whose hair has fallen out, and it is not considered changing Allah's creation.
