The answer

The hadith narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, in which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family," indicates that being good to one's wife and children is among the best deeds, and its doer is among the best of people. "To his family" means to his children and relatives, or to his wives and kin, due to the good character inherent in that.
