What is the ruling on the days I missed in Ramadan without fasting due to the difficulty of concealing my fasting from people? And is this considered like breaking the fast for a compelling reason that does not require making up the days? What is the ruling on missing prayers and fasting in the past, given that my family did not accept my discussion about Islam? And is it permissible for me to eat from my family's money that they deposit in non-Islamic banks? Is "tabarruj" (displaying one's adornments) permitted by wearing tight jeans or velvet pants if they are common among women here? Am I excused from debating those who insult the Quran for fear of angering my family, or is it obligatory for me to do so? Is it permissible for me to lie to conceal my Islam, and am I excused from wearing the hijab under these circumstances?

The virtues of Islam take into account states of necessity. So, if someone is compelled to disbelieve while their heart is content with faith, it is permissible for them to outwardly express disbelief. If a Muslim woman fears for her life or severe harm, there is no blame upon her for concealing her Islam and its outward rituals, and for alleviating the conditions of hijab to the extent that removes the harm, and for lying to conceal her religion, and for remaining silent when hearing forbidden things while disavowing them in her heart. It is permissible to break the fast in Ramadan out of necessity, with the obligation to make up for it when able. As for the prayers and fasting she missed before her conversion to Islam, sincere repentance suffices. Benefiting from family support from mixed funds (halal and haram) is permissible, and if the money is entirely haram, there is no blame in taking the necessary amount for livelihood.
