Is falling in love with Allah Almighty, constantly thinking of Him, and frequently remembering Him, while trying to abstain from sins, considered a sin or something harmful?

We congratulate the questioner on the blessing Allah Almighty has bestowed upon him, namely His love, for that is a great favor. It is one of the greatest pillars of faith, and its measure is success in obeying Him and acting in ways that please Him, based on beneficial knowledge. Among the strongest proofs of it is following the Sunnah of His Messenger Muhammad, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him. It is obligatory upon the Muslim in his worship of his Lord to combine love, fear, and hope, for these three are essential in his journey to Allah Almighty.
