Is extreme joy over worldly blessings considered a trial or a retribution from Allah, especially since He does not love those who rejoice?

Joy is permissible when it stems from a bounty from Allah, and it is a form of gratitude for it. Muslims rejoiced at the birth of Abdullah ibn Al-Zubayr, and the fasting person rejoices at breaking their fast and meeting their Lord. Joy over a bounty is not a trial as long as you thank Allah for it and fulfill its rights, similar to the joy of Sulaiman (peace be upon him) over thene Throne of Balqis. The blameworthy joy is arrogance and ingratitude to Allah, as Qarun did. The fear that a bounty is a retribution is from Satan. Therefore, a believer should have good thoughts about Allah and thank Him for His blessings, for that is better for them.
