Is there a crack in the Kaaba wall that was sealed with lead, and was the Maqam Ibrahim a scaffold used to raise the Kaaba's stones?

The myth of a crack in the Kaaba wall is one of the superstitions of the people of innovation, who claimed that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was born inside the Kaaba and exited through a crack in it. As for the Station of Ibrahim, it is the stone upon which Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood to raise the structure of the Kaaba. It was originally attached to the wall of the House, but Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) moved it eastward to facilitate circumambulation and prayer at it, in compliance with Allah's saying: "And take, [O believers], from the Station of Abraham a place of prayer."
