Does feeding as an expiation for not fasting (إطعام) fall away for a sick person who is unable to fast or to feed, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its scope"?

Whoever is ill with an incurable disease and is unable to fast, the fast is waived for him by the consensus of the scholars, and the expiation (fidyah) becomes obligatory upon him. The expiation remains his responsibility until he is able to pay it, and it consists of feeding one poor person for each day. Its quantity is 750 grams of rice or the staple food prevalent among the people of the country.
