It is advisable to supplicate for the husband's guidance instead of supplicating against him. However, it is permissible to supplicate against him, asking Allah to protect you from his evil, while adhering to the Shariah guidelines for supplicating against an oppressor. The wife is permitted to seek divorce or khul' if she cannot continue the marital life with him.
