Is the wife sinful if she supplicates against her husband for death or calamity, given her suffering with him because he does not pray, frequently curses and insults and hits her, refuses to divorce her, and forces her into marital relations despite his impotence? And is it considered "disbelieving in the spouse" if she continues to stay with him against her will?

A woman must fulfill her husband's rights, even if he is disobedient, and she should not refuse to share his bed, even if he is unable to engage in intercourse, provided he fulfills her rights concerning maintenance and housing. If he fails to do so, she has the right to seek annulment. If he fulfills her rights but she dislikes him and fears she will not be able to observe God's limits with him, she may request a divorce (talaq) or khul'. A husband's disobedience (fisq) is not a reason for annulment, but a woman may request a divorce (talaq) or khul' if he is disobedient by abandoning prayer or committing immoral acts. Patience and piety are advised, for "Whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."
