How can one distinguish between the sects and groups that claim to be "the Victorious Group" (الطائفة المنصورة) and attribute themselves to Islam, such as the Sufis and Salafis, especially with their multiplicity and the confusion this causes for many people?

The Jews split into seventy-one sects, and the Christians into seventy-two sects, all of them in Hellfire except one. And the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) will split into seventy-three sects, all of them in Hellfire except one, which is "the Community" or "that which I and my companions are upon." This saved sect is the one that united upon the truth brought by the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and followed his path and the path of his companions. They are Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (People of the Sunnah and the Community) or Ahl al-Hadith (People of Hadith) and the Salafis. Every sect that opposes them is threatened with Hellfire. One must look at the deeds of each sect: if they conform to the Sharia, then it is saved. The balance is the Qur'an and the Sunnah. So, whoever's actions and sayings align with them will enter the saved sect. As for the opposing sects, such as the Jahmiyyah, the Mu'tazilah, the Rawafid (Shi'ites), the Murji'ah, and most of the innovative Sufis, all of them are included among the sects threatened with Hellfire until they repent from what opposes the Sharia. Otherwise, they remain within the threatened sects. There might be disbelievers and non-disbelievers among them, but they are threatened with Hellfire due to innovation.
