What is the ruling on saying "Subhan Allah" when speaking about the deterioration of conditions in a certain place?

There is no sharia impediment to saying "Subhan Allah" (Glory be to Allah) when expressing wonder or astonishment at something. This phrase was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions in situations of wonder, such as his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Subhan Allah! What trials have been sent down tonight!" and his saying to Abu Hurairah: "Subhan Allah! Indeed, a believer does not become impure." Tasbeeh (glorifying Allah) is to declare Allah free from anything that does not befit His perfection and greatness, and it is considered one of the best forms of remembrance (dhikr).
