Are the spouses sinful for not paying the Sayyidah's amount, and is her prayer answered?

This woman and the other person work as brokers, and they are entitled to their commission after completing their work of guiding to the worker's location and securing the contract. If the prevailing custom is that the commission is half a salary, then the husband should pay it. Otherwise, the contract is invalid, and the customary wage (ujrat al-mithl) determined by experts must be paid. If the husband does not fulfill his obligation after it has been established, then that is an injustice.
