Is it permissible to marry the husband of one's maternal aunt?

It is not permissible for a man to combine in marriage a woman and her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt. It is also not permissible to marry your maternal aunt's husband unless he has irrevocably divorced her, meaning he has divorced her three times, or she has sought a khul' divorce, or he has divorced her once while she was not yet consummated, or he has issued a revocable divorce and her waiting period (iddah) has ended. If the divorce occurred before consummation, marriage is permissible without dispute. However, if it occurred after consummation and was a revocable divorce, then marriage is not permissible before the iddah ends. But if the divorce was irrevocable, then marriage is permissible before the iddah ends.
