What should a woman do who is engaged to a divorced man awaiting the finalization of his divorce procedures to marry her, and he asks her for marital intimacy, and she is confused as to how to convince him that this is forbidden?

It is not permissible for a man to have intimacy with a woman before marriage, because Allah the Almighty commanded lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity, and forbade displaying adornment except to mahrams. The engaged couple must avoid everything that is forbidden, and it is only permissible for them to look at the face and hands during the engagement without intending pleasure. The marriage contract should be expedited to permit intimacy, and before that, any relationship or private seclusion with her should be cut off, except for a necessary need and in the presence of others.
