What is the legal ruling on my divorce for the purpose of settling property, especially since my wife and her mother refuse to settle amicably, and they consider that the contract guarantees her future?

Divorce is not resorted to except after all means of reconciliation have failed. However, it is permissible without sin or dislike if there is a need for it, such as the wife's ill-treatment. If you wish to divorce your wife to annul a property sharing agreement, due to her bad character, and her refusal to reside with you at your workplace, then there is no sin upon you. A woman resides where her husband resides, unless she stipulated in the marriage contract not to leave her country, in which case her condition is valid. If she did not stipulate this, then it is obligatory for her to obey him if he asks her to move. However, it is better not to rush into divorcing her, but to be patient with her, strive to reform her, and convince her of the obligation of obeying her husband and the seriousness of defiance (nushuz), while frequently supplicating to Allah.
