How can a married woman, who is in an 'urfi marriage that has not honored her rights, and is facing difficult choices between patiently enduring her current situation, or separation, or moving to an unsuitable dwelling, please her Lord, achieve peace of mind, and not be unjust to herself or to others?

A valid Islamic marriage has conditions and pillars (arkaan); if these are met, the marriage is sound. There is no harm if the wife waives some of her rights, such as her share of nights (qism), maintenance (nafaqah (definition)), and housing. The obligatory maintenance on the husband is sufficient food, housing, and clothing. It is not a condition that the marital home be owned by the husband; rather, it is sufficient for him to own its usufruct. It is permissible for the husband to move his wife wherever he wishes, provided he furnishes suitable housing. Divorce is disliked in Islamic law, and the foundation of the relationship between spouses is affection, understanding, patience, and overlooking shortcomings. It is advised to treat the husband with kindness and patience, and to weigh the harm of staying against the harm of separation.
