Does the nasal drop, which the patient cannot do without and which sometimes enters the digestive tract, break the fast of the fasting person?

What reaches the throat or stomach of a fasting person from a nasal drop invalidates the fast. If one is compelled to use it due to an illness from which recovery is not achieved except by the drop reaching the throat or stomach, then he may break his fast and make up for it when he recovers. As for one who is not compelled to use it, either because his illness is minor or he can limit its use to nighttime, it is forbidden for him to take it during the day in Ramadan (definition).
