If a Muslim breaks their fast in Ramadan (definition) due to strenuous work that makes fasting impossible, there is no sin upon them, but they must make up the days they missed. However, if they break their fast without necessity, or if they could have combined work and fasting, they have committed a sin and must make up the days and repent.
