Is it permissible to slaughter a sheep with the intention of Aqiqah for a female child eight months old, and to gift a portion of it to a new neighbor?

It is sunnah (definition) for a Muslim to perform the 'aqiqah (definition) for his daughter on her seventh day. If that is not possible, then on the fourteenth, or the twenty-first day. Otherwise, on any day thereafter. It is permissible to slaughter the 'aqiqah and gift all of it to a neighbor; it is considered sufficient, as the person offering the 'aqiqah or gift is permitted to dispose of its meat as they wish.
