A woman may recite aloud if no non- man is present. Some scholars also permit her to say the opening takbir aloud. If a woman inadvertently says the opening takbir, or the , or any takbir or tasbih aloud, her prayer is valid. Some scholars recommend that she perform the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw).
